A mother told police she was kidnapped and gruesomely raped by four men for two terrifying days in Muskegon, Michigan.
Police later found out that the woman made up the entire story.
Leiha Ann-Sue Artman, 25, pleaded guilty to charges of making a false report and was sentenced to 12 months in jail, 24 months of probation and was fined $1,158, according to .

NY Daily News reports that Artman originally told investigators that she was kidnapped from her driveway on March 27 after four men threw her into their car’s trunk and drove off with her. From there, she said the foursome repeatedly raped and beat her at an unknown location.
Making a false report in Michigan, according to , can be punishable by up to four years in prison. As a second offense habitual offender, Artman could have faced a penalty of up to six years, reports.
