Already a good deal at $79, the Google Daydream View mobile VR headset is now an even better one at $49 in the US.
The headset launched alongside the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL , but now works with the Moto Z , with promised support coming soon to more Android Nougat -equipped smartphones, like the Huawei Mate 9 Porsche Design , ZTE Axon 7 and Asus ZenFone AR .
Compared to the Samsung Gear VR , the discounted Daydream View is half the price and is in some cases, a much better value despite being later to the VR game.
How? First, the Google Daydream platform and headset support a wider swath of smartphones than just Google’s own.
