Beyoncé, who is carrying twins , will not be performing in this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as she was advised by her doctors to slow it down.
Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice released a statement to Associated Press .
“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” the statement said. “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”
See? There is still a silver lining. You all just have to wait one more year to see her perform at Coachella. So yeah, maybe rebook your tickets. Kidding!
This would have been Beyoncé’s first time to headline Coachella and she would’ve been the first female performer to headline the festival after Bjork back in 2007. Queens need some rest too, especially if they’re pregnant.
