“The Dalai Lama’s comments in the interview perhaps appeared humorous and funny, but these words are all lies that do not accord with the facts,” China’s foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang told a news briefing. “Now it seems he is an actor, who is very good at performing, and very deceptively. ”
The latest row over the Dalai Lama’s comment comes at a time when his impending visit to the disputed region of Arunachal Pradesh has stroked tensions between India and China.
