Verizon brings Android 7.0 Nougat to Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 edge

Weeks behind its US carrier rivals, Verizon has finally begun rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, bringing a wide range of improvements to both devices.
After bringing its Galaxy Beta Program to an end in December , Samsung began the general rollout of its Android 7.0 Nougat update in January , starting with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint , released the Nougat update for the S7 and S7 edge in February.
Owners of the two Samsung flagships on Verizon have been left waiting since then, but the wait is finally over. Verizon has announced the start of its over-the-air rollout of Android 7.
