The president gave a speech in Saudi Arabia that was way more moderate than the angry, anti-Islam invective that he had been spewing throughout his campaign.
Some conservatives, who would like to believe that the mendacious narcissist is actually a normal, rational president, are celebrating his reading all the way through the prepared speech without going all wicky-wacky.
The question remains, however, if he can pivot so completely after spending so much time spewing hateful, divisive statements, can one believe that he won’ t just pivot again, from this apparently normal speech? At any time, in any moment, he will say whatever he’s thinking, with no internal consistency to guide him, except for his need for attention and adulation.

President Trump is in Saudi Arabia, and he is talking about a $110 billion deal with the Saudis that may have a huge, benefit for both countries.
By comparison, now maybe we all can see how bad it was for former president Barack Obama to make some of the non-beneficial deals he made during his presidency.
