Where’s Sean Spicer when Sarah Huckabee Sanders needs him?
The principal deputy White House press secretary and daughter of ex-Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee probably should have played Thursday’s press conference a little differently than she did. Instead, Huckabee Sanders defended President Trump’s nasty tweet about “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski, in which the leader of the free world said Joe Scarborough’s on- and off-camera partner was “bleeding badly from a face-lift” during an interaction they had right around New Year’s Eve.
Trump also called Brzezinski “Crazy” and “low I. Q., ” and labeled her fiancee Scarborough “Psycho.” Yes, he fit that all — AND a shot at their MSNBC TV ratings — into 140 characters this morning.
Here are Trump’s tweets, which Huckabee Sanders excused to the media as her boss “fighting fire with fire.”
