A man set off a smoke bomb at a fan event of Japanese all-girl idol group Keyakizaka46 in the city of Chiba, the capital of the namesake prefecture in eastern Japan, on Saturday evening
The Chiba prefectural police department arrested the 24-year-old man, who calls himself Ryohei Abe, at the site of the event in which fans could shake hands with Keyakizaka46 members, in violation of the swords and firearms control law as he also carried a fruit knife with him.
