The Bears quarterback had his best performance of the preseason on Sunday.
In his third preseason game, Mike Glennon found a comfort zone with the Chicago Bears that eluded him through his previous showings.
Glennon completed 11 of 18 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
The performance marked a small breakthrough for the veteran quarterback, who signed a three-year contract with the Bears this offseason but faced criticism after uneven performances in his first two exhibitions.
A 96-yard opening drive was Glennon’s highlight of the day. He completed seven of nine attempts for 84 yards on the series, capping it with a 1-yard touchdown strike to tight end Dion Sims.
He was replaced at the start of the third quarter by rookie Mitchell Trubisky, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft.
