Swift’s testimony is part of an ongoing civil trial in federal court.
Celebrity singer Taylor Swift testified in federal court Thursday that she was stunned when a former radio DJ grabbed her rear end underneath her skirt during a pre-concert photo shoot in 2013.
Swift described the alleged incident in detail during testimony in a civil court case in Denver, according to The Associated Press.
“It was a definite grab. A very long grab, ” Swift testified.
Former DJ David Mueller sued Swift and others on her team, alleging they cost him his job. He was seeking up to $3 million in damages. Swift countersued, alleging sexual assault. She is asking for a symbolic $1 judgment, the AP said.
Mueller has denied he touched the pop star inappropriately.
After the alleged grab, Swift testified she tried to stay far away from Mueller at the event, but did not want to halt the public appearance, as she had fans in line waiting for her.
