This weekend, gadget leaker Evan Blass dove deeper into Samsung ’s stash of secrets with information on the freebies that will be offered to customers who preorder the device. Free offers are nothing new when it comes to newly released Samsung smartphones, and in the past, have included accessories like the Gear VR headset.
This time around, the Galaxy Note 8 can be had with one of two free bundles:
That’s a pretty nice haul for those looking to purchase a Galaxy Note 8, but we have to mention that the smartphone won’ t exactly be bargain priced when it launches. The Galaxy S8+ has an MSRP of $850, so it wouldn’ t be out of the ordinary for the Galaxy Note 8 to surpass the $900 mark or even higher given its slightly larger display and more advanced features.
With regards to specs, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, at least 64GB of internal storage, 6.3-inch Infinity Display, S Pen stylus, dual 12MP rear cameras, and an 8MP front-facing selfie camera.
The Galaxy Note 8 will be officially revealed during Samsung’s “ Unpacked ” event on Wednesday, August 23 rd in New York City. The all-new Gear Fit2 Pro fitness wearable is also expected to debut alongside the flagship smartphone. And while the release is just a few days away, Blass reports that the Galaxy Note 8 won’ t actually find its way into customers’ hands until September 15 th.
