Tom Hanks, Angela Bassett among Creative Arts Emmys presenters

The two-night ceremony, which will be held on Sept. 9 and 10, honors outstanding artistic and technical achievement in a variety of television program genres.
The stars will be out at this year’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Among the celebrities lined up to present at the annual awards show are Tom Hanks, Alexis Bledel and Angela Bassett.
The two-night ceremony, which will be held on Sept. 9 and 10, honors outstanding artistic and technical achievement in a variety of television program genres, guest performances in weekly series, as well as exceptional work in the animation, reality and documentary categories.
The first group of celebrities scheduled to present awards on Sept. 9 include Derek Hough (“World of Dance” and “Dancing with the Stars”) , Julianne Hough (“Grease: Live!”) , Lisa Kudrow (“Who Do You Think You Are?”) , Kenan Thompson (“Saturday Night Live”) and Neil deGrasse Tyson (“StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson”) .
Sunday’s presenters include Hank Azaria (“Brockmire” and “Ray Donovan”) , Angela Bassett (“911” and “Black Panther”) , Alexis Bledel (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) , Laverne Cox (“Orange Is the New Black”) , Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“Are You There Democracy? It’s Me, The Internet”) , Tom Hanks (“Saturday Night Live”) , Jane Lynch (“Dropping the Soap” and “Hollywood Game Night”) , Wendi McLendon-Covey (“The Goldbergs”) and Niecy Nash (“Claws”) .
The awards show, which will be produced again this year by Bob Bain, will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The event begins at 5 p.m. PDT each evening. FXX will also broadcast the show on Sunday, September 16 at 8 p.m. ET.
