Gary Sanchez let fans and relief pitcher David Robertson know on Twitter that he’s doing alright after taking a foul ball to the groin in Tuesday night’s wild-card game.
Sanchez tweeted out the viral photo of Robertson reacting to the foul tip, reassuring his teammate that everything was alright.
When Sanchez got hit down below, Robertson put his hand over his private area and looked on in shock as his teammate dropped to the ground.
“Poor guy. I had a great view of it, he just took a tough shot right there,” Robertson said. “I just felt for him. I’m wearing a cup, too. I just know how it feels to get hit there. It’s not fun.”

The Yankees catcher remained in the game and even ended up getting a few hits before the night was over.
Sanchez might be a little sore Wednesday, but he can’t be feeling all bad.
