The accuser, who was not identified, claims the alleged incident occurred in 2005.
British authorities are investigating a second sexual assault accusation against Kevin Spacey, police said Wednesday.
The new allegation against the actor was submitted last Friday and asserts Spacey assaulted a male victim — whose identity was not revealed — in 2005 in the London district of Lambeth, according to The BBC .
Britain’s Metropolitan Police were already looking into a separate accusation that Spacey sexually assaulted a 23-year-old man in 2008, also in Lambeth. That investigation was confirmed by British police on Nov. 3.
Numerous men have come forward in recent weeks to accuse Spacey of sexual misconduct after Anthony Rapp last month told Buzzfeed that in 1986, when he was 14, a 26-year-old Spacey climbed onto him while he was in bed.

Spacey said in a statement he doesn’t remember the alleged incident, but said he owes Rapp “the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior.”
The Old Vic theater — where Spacey served as artistic director from 2004 until 2015 — released the results of an investigation last week in which 20 different people submitted accusations involving Spacey acting inappropriately.
The theater did not reveal any specifics from those allegations.
Spacey — a two-time Oscar winner — was axed by Netflix amid the scandal, ending his run portraying the main character on “House of Cards.” He will also be replaced by Christopher Plummer in the upcoming movie “All the Money in the World,” which he had already completed filming, and his publicist parted ways with the actor.
