Rose McGowan Turns Herself in for Arrest on Drug Charge

McGowan was arrested and booked in Virginia on Tuesday in relation to felony drug charges stemming from an incident in January.
Rose McGowan turned herself in on Tuesday to be arrested on booked on a felony drug charge, TheWrap has learned.
The arrest was related to a felony drug charge in Loudoun County, Virginia following a Jan. 20 incident in which traces of narcotics were allegedly detected on items left on a United flight bound for Washington Dulles International Airport.
McGowan was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 5 felony, and released on $5,000 bond, according to a spokesman for the Loudoun County Sheriffs Office.

After the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department issued a statement about the warrant for McGowan’s arrest last month, saying she did not respond to attempts to contact her to appear in court, McGowan responded on Twitter.
“Are they trying to silence me? There is a warrant out for my arrest in Virginia. What a load of HORSES—,” she wrote.

McGowan became a prominent voice against sexual harassment after going public with her accusation that she was raped by Harvey Weinstein, and confirming in a New York Times report that she was one of the women with whom Weinstein settled sexual harassment lawsuits. She later said that just weeks before the New York Times report was published, Weinstein offered her $1 million to stay quiet about her accusations.

Brett Ratner

The “Gossip Girl” star has been accused of sexual assault by two women, including actress Kristina Cohen, who said Westwick forced himself on her while she was napping at his house. Westwick denied the allegations, calling them “provably untrue.”

Actor Blaise Godbe Lipman said APA agent Grasham fed him alcohol and sexually assaulted him when the actor was in his late teens. Actor Tyler Cornell filed a police report claiming the agent sodomized him. And teen Brady Lindsey described predatory behavior by Grasham.
Fallout: Actors Finn Wolfhard and Cameron Boyce left the agency, and Grasham was fired .
Rick Najera
Najera, director of the CBS Diversity Sketch Comedy Showcase, made inappropriate and lewd comments to coworkers in multiple instances. Actress Rachel Bloom sent an email to participants warning of his behavior.
Fallout: Najera resigned from his role and issued a statement saying he was “heartbroken and confounded by deliberate and cruel defamations.” Getty Images
