With just two weeks to go until Alabamians cast their votes, Roy Moore rebuffed the mounting claims during a Monday night rally.
With just two weeks to go until Alabamians cast their votes, Roy Moore pushed back against the mounting sexual misconduct allegations plaguing his U. S. Senate bid.
Moore blamed “dirty politics” for a cascade of women going public with their harrowing encounters with the right-wing jurist during a Monday night rally.
“These allegations are completely false, they’re malicious, specifically I do not know any of these women nor have I engaged in sexual misconduct with anyone,” Moore said to a packed audience during a Henagar campaign event.
He cited his heated Senate race — which could weaken the GOP’s legislative authority — against Democrat Doug Jones as the reason for the allegations.
“The truth is, this is not really odd at all. This is just dirty politics and it’s a sign of the immorality of our time,” Moore said.

Goolesby kicked off Moore’s half-hour speech by threatening to have attendees booted for “outbursts,” and that Moore would not take questions from members of the media or “anyone else.”
He acknowledged the sexual misconduct allegations plaguing Moore’s campaign and defended the candidate.
“I just want you to really pray about what’s going on,” Goolesby said. “We know we’re not hiding a battle against man. This is a spiritual battle that we’re fighting.”
