'Titanic' returning to theaters for anniversary, including 1 cinema in Michigan

Near. Far. Wherever you are you’ll have a chance to see the hit movie “Titanic” in theaters one more time as the second highest grossing film worldwide of all time returns to theaters for a one-week run starting on Nov. 30.
Select AMC Theaters across the country will be running the more than three hour long film including a lone location in Michigan. The AMC Star Gratiot located at 35750 S. Gratiot Ave. in Clinton Township will begin showing the film on Nov. 30 with a special 7 p.m. screening.
The film is being shown in Dolby Vision which is a ultra high-definition presentation of the movie with brighter colors. It will also be available to watch in 2D or 3D versions depending on the theaters offerings..
As a bonus to people who preorder tickets, a digital version of the film will be provided for download.
“Titanic” was first released on Dec. 19,1997 and has grossed more than $2.2 billion worldwide since then. It was released in 3D a few years ago as part of the 15th anniversary in 2012.
According to the AMC website, tickets for the screening start are $16.99 for adults. Seating is reserved meaning if you order tickets ahead of time you are able to select your seats.
