Capcom has announced that a Devil May Cry HD Collection will be coming for the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on March 13 of next year.
Capcom has announced that it will be releasing a Devil May Cry HD Collection to the Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC next year on March 13. The collection will include Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, and Devil May Cry 3: Special Edition, and will sell for $29.99 both digitally and in retail.
Devil May Cry is seen as one of the best action games ever, with tight combat and a good story to go along with it. Players take on the role of Dante, a white-haired demon hunter whose twin pistols and big sword will carry you through the entire game as he fights to save the world from demons and his evil twin brother, Vergil.
While the games are all highly regarded in general, Devil May Cry 3 is the one that most people remember, but with the Devil May Cry HD Collection, you’ll be able to experience the entire series on whatever console you want. And when Capcom says HD, they mean it. In addition to upgraded visuals, players will also be able to run the games at a smooth 60 frames per second framerate.
There hasn’t been a Devil May Cry game since DMC: Devil May Cry came out back in 2013, which got a good bit of criticism at first for redesigning Dante to look more like a teen punk (Capcom and developer Ninja Theory even included a joke where 2013 Dante wears a white wig and snarks about it). However, the game sold fairly well and got positive reviews.
That hasn’t stopped Capcom from using the original Dante in all of their other stuff, however, such as in the Marvel vs Capcom games where he remains white-haired.
So, if you want to play a challenging and fast-paced action game, be on the lookout for when the Devil May Cry HD Collection releases on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on March 13 of next year.
