Lawmakers now have until December 22nd to agree on another funding bill.
On Thursday, the House and Senate both passed a continuing resolution to fund the government for two weeks at current spending levels. President Donald Trump is expected to sign the legislation. The bill averts a government shutdown, which would have occurred at the end of the day tomorrow without such legislation.

Chief among them: a DACA fix, funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program, and the fate of several bills designed to stabilize the Affordable Care Act’s non-group markets.
