College football is big business. In other words, big money.
Why do you think the bowl structure exists as it does? The more, the merrier: That’s the attitude of television executives and conference commissioners, as they count the dough rolling in.
“Student-athletes” (quotations for facetious impact) make so much money for college football and, consequently, for the bowls, that it’s only right that the bowls give something back in return, right?
That leads us to bowl swag – gifts and gear dispensed to the teams at the respective bowls.
It’s interesting to see what’s handed out. Some bowl gifts are better than others.
