A shooting at the Bakersfield Heart Hospital sparked a lockdown at around 5 p.m., according to police.
Responding police reportedly killed the suspect, who entered the hospital from the emergency room exit, according to a source who spoke to ABC .
The hospital is still on lockdown and officers are “clearing the premises for any other potential threats,” police said.
