Three people were recently arrested in connection to a robbery that happened last month.
SPRINGFIELD, MI — Three people were arrested Wednesday, Jan. 9 in connection to an armed robbery that happened in December, according to Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies.
The robbery happened at the M&M Food Mart, 1004 Goguac St. about 9:35 p.m. Dec. 22.
Police said a clerk reported three people entered the store and robbed him at gunpoint. The suspects escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash and miscellaneous alcoholic beverages.
A deputy from the Springfield Substation was able to locate the suspect vehicle involved in the robbery at an apartment complex.
As a result, detectives were able to identify three suspects and execute a search warrant in the 800 block of North Avenue. Three people were arrested for their part in the armed robbery.
Police said a 27-year-old Battle Creek woman, a 33-year old Battle Creek man and a 36-year old Battle Creek man were all lodged at the Calhoun County Jail.
