Arson investigation underway after Roy Moore accuser's home burns down

Alabama news site AL.com is reporting that Tina Johnson and her family lost their home and all their belongings inside of it on Tuesday.
Police are investigating a suspected arson at the home of one of the women who accused former Senate GOP candidate Roy Moore of sexual misconduct.

According to The Hill, a local sheriff’s department spokesperson said, “a suspect of interest is being spoken to.” They went on to note that no charges have been filed at this time.
According to AL.com several neighbors noticed a man known for public intoxication roaming around the house during the time of the fire.
Johnson and her husband were at work at the time of the fire and police say no one was hurt.
Johnson was one of nine women who shared their story last year, accusing Moore of misconduct. She alleged that he groped her in 1991 in his law office. She was 28 at the time.
Moore lost the election to Democrat Doug Jones in December.
