MSI has announced two new additions to its gaming monitor lineup at CES this year. The new Optic MPG27CQ and MPG27C monitors both feature SteelSeries GameSense lighting system, allowing gamers to sync the RGB LED lights on the monitors with vital in-game stats.
MSI hasn’t announced any info regarding the pricing or availability of these new gaming monitors yet.
The new Optix MPG27C and MPG27CQ monitors are both 27-inch gaming monitors with an 1800R curvature. Since they are targeted at gamers, the two monitors boast an impressive 144 Hz refresh rate and a 1ms response time for a smooth gaming experience. The key difference between the two is the resolution. While the MPG27C uses a 1920 x 1080 Full HD VA panel, the MPG27CQ uses a 2560 x 1440 WQHD VA panel. The built-in RGB LED lighting on the monitors make it easier for you to check your in-game ammo, health or power stats. Like any modern gaming monitor, MSI’s latest offerings also feature an Anti-Flicker backlight and a “Less Blue Light” feature.
