Franco’s attorney disputed all of the accusers’ accounts.
According to a new report, multiple women alleged actor James Franco approached them in an inappropriate way and abused his power while helping them in their careers.
“I feel there was an abuse of power, and there was a culture of exploiting non-celebrity women, and a culture of women being replaceable,” Sarah Tither-Kaplan, a former acting student at Franco’s Studio 4 acting school, said.
She and four other women, according to The Los Angeles Times, claimed that at times, Franco’s behavior was inappropriate or sexually exploitative.
Multiple women described him removing plastic guards on female actors’ vaginas while they filmed a nude orgy scene. Tither-Kaplan alleged Franco simulated oral sex after removing the plastic guards.
Another former student said Franco was angry when students refused to pose topless during a purported jeans commercial.
“So, who wants to take your shirt off?” Franco reportedly asked midway through filming the jeans commercial.
