Netflix has revealed a list of the top binged shows that the audience has severely enjoyed, and continues to do so, on the behemoth streaming service.

Before moving forward, understand that the study focused on subscribers who signed up in the last five years and finished shows with more than five episodes in less than a week.
“Most people wait until the third date, but globally it only takes two weeks (well, 12 days to be exact) for the majority of Netflix members to go all the way,” a press release reads. “No, not Netflix and chill. We’re talking about your first time bingeing on Netflix.”
The critically acclaimed Breaking Bad has cemented itself in the top spot, with Orange is the New Black following in second. The Walking Dead has risen in the ranks to reach third place, perhaps in the anticipation of the upcoming new season.
It should be noted that all three shows are under the banner of the AMC (American Movie Classics) entertainment network. However, the three shows coming in afterwards are all originals from Netflix–Stranger Things, Narcos, and House of Cards take the fourth, fifth, and sixth spot respectively.
Concluding the list of the top binged shows on the platform are Prison Break, 13 Reasons Why, Grey’s Anatomy, and American Horror Story in precise order.
While reporting its quarterly earnings last month, Netflix announced that it added 8.3 million subscribers in the fourth quarter to end the year. This is the most-ever amount of subscribers achieved by the company in any quarter in history. Thanks to the new figures, there are now more than 117 million subscribers across the globe.
Netflix expects to gain about 1.45 million subscribers from the United States and 4.90 million subscribers from the international markets by the end of the first quarter this year.
