“Everything is off now, and Stormy is going to tell her story.”
Porn actress Stormy Daniels says she’s free to talk now about her dealings with Donald Trump.
Trump’s attorney, Michael Cohen, is now shopping a book in which he claims he personally paid off Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, presumably so she’d be quiet about her dealings with the president.
Daniels reportedly met the future president at a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe in 2006. Neither one has ever admitted a relationship.
Two news stories appeared about Cohen’s admission about the $130,000 payment, which is being investigated by the Federal Election Commission.
The Associated Press reports that because of the publicity, Daniels’ manager, Gina Rodriguez, claims the nondisclosure agreement she had with the president’s team is broken.
In a January appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Daniels was cagey about the agreement when the host asked her if she had a nondisclosure agreement:
Recently, a letter purportedly sent by Daniels claimed: “I am denying this affair because it never happened.”
The letter said that “rumors of hush money are completely false.”
Rodriguez says Daniels is now free to tell her story and that she’ll soon reveal her plans.
Get ready for some high-stakes bidding from the media.
