Two people have been killed and more have been injured in the recent bombings in Austin. Federal, state and local officials continue to investigate, and a reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest of suspects.
We’ve reported so far that two explosions last week killed a teenager and seriously injured one other person. Those bombings came 10 days after another fatal blast in the city.
On Sunday night, two people were wounded in an explosion that was similar to the other recent blasts but also demonstrated “a higher level of skill,” officials said.
Austin police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating.
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $115,000 for information that leads to an arrest. People can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-252-8477, text “DPS” and a tip to 274637 or submit the tip online.
Our reporters want to know what questions you have about the bombings, what residents should do to stay safe and what charges a suspect could face. Tell us in the Curious Texas form below.
