These models come in 43-inch, 49-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch screen size versions. It had also unveiled its cheaper, 32-inch and 50-inch TVs a few months ago. Now, it has announced yet another TV in China, dubbed as the Mi TV 4A. It comes with a 40-inch Full HD screen, 1GB of RAM, and Dolby-certified loudspeakers.
As the name suggests, this Mi TV 4A 40-inch TV features a 40-inch screen with Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels), 178-degree viewing angle, 8ms response time, 5000: 1 contrast ratio, and 60Hz refresh rate. As far its hardware goes, it uses a 1.5GHz quad-core 64-bit Cortex A53 processor with Mali-450 MP3 GPU. You get 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, and Android-based PatchWall OS.
Connectivity-wise, the Xiaomi Mi TV 4A offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, 2 x HDMI ports, 1 x AV port, 2 x USB ports, and an Ethernet port. There’s also a built Mi Player, which supports video decoding of various formats: H.263, H.264, H.265, MPEG1/2/4. For audio decoding, you get access to Dolby Audio/DTS-HD dual audio decoding. The Mi TV 4A 40-inch can mirror screens from smartphones, tablets, and notebooks through AirPlay and Miracast.
Recently, the Chinese smartphone maker had unveiled its TV lineup in India by announcing the 55-inch variant of the Mi TV 4 in the country last month. This saw a huge response from Indian customers, as the TV was sold out within 10 seconds during its first flash sale that happened last week.
Coming to its pricing, the Mi TV 4A 40-inch variant will retail for CNY 1,699 (approximately, Rs. 17,448) in China, and will be available for pre-booking starting today. It will first go on sale from March 6th, 2018.
Speaking about its Indian availability, we can’t guarantee any information about it right now, but for those looking to buy one, you have an option to get 32-inch or 43-inch variants of the TV, which Xiaomi is bringing to India on March 7th, 2018. The former of them is expected to retail for Rs. 12,999, while the 43-inch model could be priced at Rs. 27,999.
