While prices for Apple’s first 6.1-inch iPhone may start at just $550, the handset will lack some high-end features – including 3D Touch…
According to 9to5Mac, reputable KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has updated his forecast related to the 6.1-inch iPhone that Apple is seemingly planning to release this year. Reportedly, prices for this handset could start at just $550 – that’s significantly lower than the device’s previously estimated starting price (around $700).
Ming-Chi Kuo also says that the 6.1-inch iPhone might have single SIM and dual SIM versions, with the latter possibly costing an extra $100. According to previous reports, this 6.1-inch iPhone will be sold at accessible prices because it’s going to lack some of the features found on the more expensive models ( like 3D Touch).
Alongside the 6.1-inch iPhone, which should sport an LCD screen, Apple is expected to release 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch iPhones, both with OLED screens. The three handsets will probably be announced in the second half of the year, and, like it or not, they might all have notches.
