Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box and features Face Unlock
Huawei has launched its latest budget smartphone- Y5 Prime (2018) in China. The device will go on sale very soon in China, however, there is no official word on the availability of the Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) in India. The Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) will be available in single SIM and dual SIM card variants. The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box and features Face Unlock. The device is expected to be priced under Rs 7000, if at all Huawei launches the Y5 Prime (2018) in India.
The Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) features a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels. The device has a 13MO rear camera along with a 5MP front camera. The device will be powered by a low-end processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with support for microSD cards of up to 256GB. The smartphone will flaunt Android Oreo-based EMUI interface. On the connectivity front, the Huawei Y5 Prime offers support for 4G LTE, GPS, Glonass along with regular connectivity features. The smartphone is powered by a 3,020mAh battery.
In India, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has recently launched its Honor 7A and Honor 7C smartphones. The Honor 7A is priced at Rs 8,999 and it comes in three colour options Blue, Black, and Gold. On the other hand, the Honor 7C comes in two variants — 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage priced at Rs 9,999 and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at Rs 11,999. While Honor 7C will be available on Amazon.in website, the Honor 7A will sell on rival Flipkart. The Honor 7C smartphone will also come in Black, Gold, and Blue colour variants like the Honor 7A. There’s also cashback offer of Rs 2000 from Reliance Jio on both the smartphones.
