President Donald Trump said on Twitter Sunday that immigrants entering the country illegally should be deported “immediately” without being granted a court hearing.
President Donald Trump is calling for the immediate deportation of all immigrants who cross the border illegally, he said on Twitter Sunday, noting that they shouldn’t be granted a court hearing.
“We cannot allow all of these people to invade our Country. When somebody comes in, we must immediately, with no Judges or Court Cases, bring them back from where they came. The following tweet read: “…. Our Immigration policy, laughed at all over the world, is very unfair to all of those people who have gone through the system legally and are waiting on line for years! Immigration must be based on merit – we need people who will help to Make America Great Again!”
The tweets came just hours before a protest was set to begin on the steps of the U. S. Federal Building & Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale. His statements also circulated cyberspace a day after thousands showed up to the Homestead shelter where hundreds of undocumented children are being housed.
His tweets also came just hours after U. S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz said at least 10 babies and toddlers were being housed in two “tender-age shelters” in Miami-Dade.

Trump abruptly signed an executive order l ast week in response to pressure from anxious allies. The order reversed his previous stance, halting his administration’s policy of separating children from their parents when they are detained illegally crossing the U. S. border.
