Trump played the fake action movie trailer video for North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un during their nuclear weapons summit in Singapore
President Trump threw everything and the kitchen sink into the fake action movie-style trailer he made for North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un — including a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it photo of real-life action star Sylvester Stallone.
Eagle-eyed viewers can spot the Italian Stallion around the 2:45 mark, when a photo of Stallone kicking it with President Trump in the Oval Office flashes onscreen.
The photograph was taken in May, when Trump pardoned the late boxing legend Jack Johnson in direct response to a lobbying campaign by Stallone.

The Trump administration’s decision to include the image was likely not accidental: Kim is a big fan of Stallone’s “Rocky” movies. How do we know? As it happens, former NBA star Dennis Rodman. In 2017 Rodman, who has met Kim several times since 2013, told DuJour Magazine that the North Korean dictator is a fan of American pop-culture who listens to the “Rocky” and “Dallas” theme songs for hours on end.
That tracks with a 2012 South Korean newspaper report that a North Korean television program included three minutes’ worth of scenes from “Rocky IV” while a group a local female musicians played “Gonna Fly Now” from the movie’s soundtrack.
Trump told reporters he showed Kim the weird video about “two men, two leaders, one destiny,” to display what they could achieve if they reach an agreement to eliminate North Korea’s nuclear arsenal. Trump said the video was played for around eight members of the country’s delegation and said he “thought they were fascinated by it.”
Whether the cameo worked is anyone’s guess. But according to Trump, Kim seemed to be pleased.
“We had it made up. I showed it to him today, actually during the meeting, toward the end of the meeting and I think he loved it,” Trump said after the meeting.
