The two-day NATO summit kicked off in Brussels on Wednesday, bringing together heads of state and government of the 29-nation military alliance.
The ongoing discussions have been clouded well in advance by the US demand for partners’ compliance with the 2-percent spending target and the recently sharpened disagreements inside the West, demonstrated at the G7 summit in Quebec.
