But suppose you get the urge to hear the latest top stories and your eyes and hands are otherwise occupied? Google has announced that it started rolling out a new feature that will allow you to ask Assistant on your Android phone, “Hey Google, what’s the latest news?” Your handset will play some news excepts directly from the Google News app, culled from various media companies. You can even be more specific and ask for “the latest news about NASA,” or “the latest news about Giancarlo Stanton.” This will also work on your Google Home smart speakers.
