Mike Lorenzo-Vera was having a rough go of it at the PGA Championship on Sunday, watching his pretty week’s work — a -2 total coming into Sunday — vanish in a hail of bogeys, capped by a triple bogey on the 10th. And shortly afterward, well, he’d had enough:
We’re not sure what club he snapped there, but if the answer’s anything short of “all of them,” he’s still more in control of his emotions than we’d be. After 14 holes, Lorenzo-Vera stood at +2, and highly unlikely to win the tournament. Ah, well. We’ll always have those scraps of club.
