Microsoft’s well-received Xbox Game Pass service will be getting seven new games early this October, including games like Metro 2033 and Wolfenstein The New Order
With Playstation bringing a formidable lineup of free games through its Playstation Plus service, Xbox is picking up the slack with several new titles in its Xbox Game Pass service. Those who subscribe to the service will be getting seven new titles coming early on in October.
The image below goes over the majority of the games coming to the Game Pass in October, with some highlights being Wolfenstein: The New Order and Metro: 2033 Redux. Forza Horizon 4 is also in the lineup, along with Lego Indiana Jones, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, and Westerado: Double Barreled.
The Xbox Game Pass, for those who aren’t in the know, is a service in which Microsoft offers up a considerable library of games for the use of subscribers. Unlike Xbox Live Gold, the Game Pass service gives unlimited access to not only one month’s titles, but the vast majority of titles that have been added to the program.
While games are occasionally removed from the Xbox Game Pass service, the list of games available is still pretty huge. Over 100 games are available on the service at the time of writing, and the ones being added this month could sway those who are considering coughing up the $10/month price.

The game was critically acclaimed for a reason, offering shamelessly indulgent gunplay with some surprising depth of storytelling. It also managed to snag an exceptional sequel back in 2017 in Wolfenstein: The New Colossus.
Forza Horizon 4 will be launching on Xbox Game Pass on October 2nd. The rest of these titles will launch at the start of the month, on October 1st.
