An infamous “Star Wars” character might be making an appearance in “Episode IX.”
WARNING: OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KEEP READING IF YOU DON’T WANT TO KNOW POTENTIAL SPOILERS.
The Express reported the following:
The leaks claims: “Emperor Palpatine will play a role in Episode 9. Specifically, Kylo Ren with an ignited lightsaber, presumably his cross-guard lightsaber, cutting through a blast door on some jungle planet and entering what appears to be a vault.
“Eventually Kylo Ren is holding a square object that projects a lifelike projection of Emperor Palpatine. Palpatine’s hand is raised in front of Kylo Ren showing blueprints or plans that could be a new weapon.”
Let’s go! This sounds absolutely dope. Palpatine is one of the greatest villains in the history of movies. The man was pure evil and one of the greatest manipulators to ever hit the screen. Hopefully, if he does return, Disney doesn’t make him childish. Show us the evil within him! (RELATED: We Have Details About The New ‘Star Wars’ Project. Fans Will Go Wild When They Hear Them)
The scene where he kills Mace Windu and the scene where he’s cut down by Darth Vader are both two of the most iconic scenes in the entire film franchise. There’s no question about it. The man was responsible for pretty much the entire story line.
“Star Wars: Episode IX” is expected to be released at some point in 2019, and I couldn’t be more excited. It sounds like it’s going to be absolutely awesome, especially if Palpatine does make some kind of a return.
