The first lady’s spokesperson is firing back at T. I over the rapper’s “disgusting” music video that features a character, who looks like Melania Trump, wearing nothing but that infamous “I Really Don’t Care, Do U?” jacket.
“Like it or not, she is the first lady and this is the White House,” Stephanie Grisham, Melania Trump’s spokeswoman told USA TODAY in a statement Tuesday.
She continued: “It’s disrespectful and disgusting to portray her this way simply because of politics.”
The statement comes after Atlanta rapper T. I. released a NSFW presidential-themed video teaser for his new album “Dime Trap” Friday. The message about his dislike for President Donald Trump was clear, “Dear 45, I ain’t Kanye,” he tweeted, with the video.
The clip begins with real footage of Trump boarding Marine One solo. It then cuts to T. I. watching from a set the looks like the Oval Office, with a voice-over noting that the first lady’s absence from Trump’s trip, which “has a lot of people wondering.”
After the coast is clear, T. I. takes a seat behind the Resolute Desk and lights a cigar as a woman wearing nothing but the first lady’s notorious green Zara jacket (which she told ABC News was directed at the left-wing media) and a pair of heels steps in front of him, disrobes and begins dancing suggestively on the desk. Later, T. I. watches as she sprays paint over the eyes of her husband’s portrait.
“These kinds of vulgar attacks only further the divisiveness and bias in our country – it needs to stop,” Grisham added.

The president, who spent the weekend campaigning and welcoming Pastor Andrew Brunson home from captivity in Turkey, has yet to acknowledge the T. I. video on his social media channels.
T. I. has been busy on social media lately. He made waves last week when he went after West following the rapper’s appearance at the White House.
The rapper, who collaborated with ‘Ye on the 2006 track “Swagga Like Us,” publicly unfriended West in an NSFW Instagram post.
“At one time it was a pleasure to work alongside you… now, I’m ashamed to have ever been associated with you,” he wrote. “I’ve reached my limits. This is my stop, I’m officially DONE!!!!”
The rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., revealed he’d turned down West’s invitation to join him at the White House and called the meeting the “most repulsive, disgraceful, embarrassing act of desperation & auctioning off of one’s soul to gain power I’ve ever seen.”
