Forza Horizon 4 launched earlier this month and the game already has 2 million players in just one week. Not only that, players have “logged more than 822.7 million miles” in just one week.
This is according to Xbox who confirmed that just within the first week, Forza Horizon 4 has attracted 2 million players “driving around Forza Horizon 4’s Britain”.
This news comes following the NPD Charts revealing that Forza Horizon 4 is the fastest-selling game in the franchise. According to Microsoft:
Forza is an annual series with Forza Motorsport releasing one year and Horizon the next. However, this cycle will break in 2019 as Turn 10 Studios has confirmed that there won’t be Forza Motorsport 8 in 2019. Instead, the studio will be working to improve Forza Motorsport 7.
According to the studio, they will be overhauling the “overall racing and drifting experience” along tweaking other things like physics “handling, suspension and collision systems”.
This will come as a disappointment for the fans expecting the next Motorsport title in 2019. But, Turn 10 Studios fixing their game is probably the best thing to do right now.
Forza Horizon 4 is an open-world racing title developed by Playground Games. The game is available exclusively for PC and Xbox One.
