The Razer Phone 2 has a 120Hz screen and powerful front-facing speakers.
The 120Hz screen comes in handy both in games like Real Racing 3 and while scrolling around web pages, making everything smoother.
Unlike last year’s phone, this one has a glass back with a color-changing Razer logo. For notifications, the logo lights up in the color of whatever app is notifying you.
You can also customize the color-shifting logo in software.
From the front, the Razer Phone 2 (left) looks a lot like the Razer Phone 1 (right). They’re just about the same size. The Razer Phone 2’s screen is brighter, though.
You can really tell the difference between the phones when you turn them around. The Razer Phone 2 (left) has a different camera placement, and that glass back with the color-changing logo.
Web pages scroll more smoothly on the 120Hz screen.
Razer says it reworked the dual main cameras to be considerably better, but we’re going to have to test that out.
The fingerprint sensor is on the right side.
Volume buttons are on the left.
The phone charges with USB-C or wireless charging, and it supports QuickCharge 4+ to reach a fifty-percent charge in half an hour.
You can also get this wireless charging dock with shifting LED colors that you can customize in software.
