KANSAS CITY — Melvin Gordon won’t play in the Chargers’ pivotal Thursday night game against the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.
Gordon was declared inactive by the team 90 minutes before kickoff.
The Chargers running back will miss his third consecutive game because of a sprained MCL sustained Nov. 25 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Gordon was seen on the field Thursday running drills.
