Today we’re talking about expectations for Samsung’s next big event. Based on what we’ve learned over the last few weeks AND what we’ve learned in just the past 24 hours, we’ve got a pretty interesting list to roll down. The following is all about that February 20th event that’ll reveal the Galaxy S10, first and foremost.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 E is the “Lite” version you might’ve heard of – or so we’ve been told this week. The “E” model makes more sense than Lite insomuch as the “Lite” versions of Galaxy phones in the past have indeed been lesser than their non-lite companions. Samsung doesn’t want that mental image in your brain anymore.
The Galaxy S10 E will be smaller than the Galaxy S10, and it’ll have no in-display fingerprint reader, and it will probably have a smaller battery, and a flat display instead of curved, and maybe it’ll come in different colors. Actually it’ll probably be coming in most of the same colors save a few model-specific colors in select markets around the world – that’ll make the most sense.
In the Samsung Galaxy S10 we’ll have a smartphone that’s just a bit more than a standard iterative step past its predecessor. This device will likely have an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, an in-display camera (punched through a hole in the display panel), and a lovely set of cameras on its back.
