NFL draft week is finally here, sports fans!
The long road to draft day — from the all-star games to the combine to the pro days — is winding down toward its ultimate destination for the big event in Nashville.
Here is just a sampling of the pre-draft fun that is coming this week at USA TODAY Sports:
Monday: This is going to be a big week for mock drafts, so buckle up! Here’s our latest mock, looking at what surprises we might expect in the first round.
Tuesday: We will rank the top 50 players in this year’s draft class. Who do you think will be No.1?
Wednesday: No way are we going more than two days without another mock draft. Also, we break down prospects who could be surprise first-round picks (this is something that happens every year, folks).
Thursday: It’s draft day! We squeeze in one more final mock before the first round gets underway in Nashville at 8 p.m. ET (on ABC, ESPN, NFL Network and ESPN Deportes). Also, we will name five prospects who could experience a draft-day drop (this is also something that happens every year).
