This more affordable take on the Zephyrus line boasts a rare combination of Nvidia and AMD internals
An Nvidia GPU paired with an Intel processor is by far the most common combination we see in gaming laptops. With the introduction today of Nvidia’s new GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics chip for laptops, though, Asus decided to mix things up more than a little bit.
On the entry-level end of its ROG Zephyrus line, the company has matched a mainstream GTX 1660 Ti GPU with an AMD Ryzen 7 3750H CPU (one of AMD’s recent mobile chips, code-named “Picasso”).
