Information on the PS5 has been rather sparse, but it looks like the PlayStation 5 is going to be officially revealed very soon.
Update, May 29,2020 (12:22 PM ET): Sony posted on the PlayStation Blog confirming the PlayStation 5 reveal event will take place. However, the original report cited June 3 as the date, but it turns out Sony will reveal the games for its next-generation console on June 4,2020, at 1:00 PM Pacific time. It will air on both Twitch and YouTube and will run for a little more than an hour.
Sony said that the event will feature a “first look at the games you’ll be playing after PlayStation 5 launches this holiday.” While the company has already revealed plenty of information about the console, it’ll be nice to see what the company has planned in terms of games, as that’s what really makes a console launch worthwhile.
