The 18-year-old was shot in the armpit while driving and crashed the vehicle into a tree in the 2600 block of West 24th Street, police said. He died at the scene.
The 17-year-old was pumping gas in the 5500 block of West Diversey Avenue when someone fired shots from a black SUV, according to Chicago police.
