Sony India has finally announced the price of the PlayStation 5 in India and is going to give the Xbox Series X tough competition
Fans of the PlayStation gaming console in India finally have a reason to celebrate. Sony India has revealed the pricing for the upcoming PlayStation 5 and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition gaming consoles. The PlayStation 5 will retail for Rs 49,990 while the digital edition of the console, which doesn’t have a optical disc drive will retail for Rs 39,990. The company has not yet revealed the date on which the consoles will be going on sale in India though. The console segment is once again back in the limelight for offering immense value for money. Here’s how the upcoming PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series consoles square up against one another. Both Sony and Microsoft are launching two variants of their next generation consoles, but their approaches to them are quite different. Sony has the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, the difference between the two just being the lack of an optical disc drive in the latter. Microsoft is launching the Xbox Series X and the Xbox Series S, with the former being a 4K gaming beast while the latter best suited for 1440p, high refresh rate gaming.
