LG has promised three years of Android updates for its premium phones released in 2019 or later. Here’s a list of eligible devices.
Earlier this week, LG announced that it’ll be wrapping up its smartphone business by the end of July. At the time, the company said that it’ll continue providing software updates to certain phones in certain regions. Now, LG has clarified just which phones will be eligible for future Android updates and how many. In its latest announcement, the South Korean firm has reassured customers that its premium phones will receive up to three iterations of Android updates from the year of purchase.
