Performance mode currently being tested in the Canary build
Microsoft is reportedly planning a series of new features for Microsoft Edge browser, and one of them is called “Performance Mode.” Just like its name suggests, the Performance Mode would be specifically supposed to improve the performance of the computer, so in theory, when enabled, this setting should offer a more balanced resource usage from the browser. The description of the feature indicates that the gains your computer would get after enabling the performance mode in Microsoft Edge would obviously depending on a series of factors, including the hardware in your computer and how you use the browser.
